What’s my Collection, and how do I add to it?

The Collection is a place to gather your favorite artists, albums and songs in one, sortable place. To add music to your Collection, find an album or song and longpress (tap and hold) it. Select “Add to Collection”.

To remove music from your Collection, tap the artist name and select an album. If you want to remove the whole album, tap the(or synced icon) next to the album name. For individual tracks, longpress on the track.

What does Sync to Mobile mean?

Synced music is stored locally on your iOS device, and does not need a WiFi or cellular data connection to play. You can sync as much music as will fit in your device’s storage, and it will be playable as long as you have an active trial or Unlimited subscription.

How do I manage my Synced music?

To sync music, find an album or song, longpress it or tap the gray  icon, and select "Sync to Mobile." Music synced for Offline play is marked with an orange mobile icon. You can also use Rdio’s web site to mark music for offline syncing, which will happen the next time you launch Rdio on your iPad.

To manually switch between Online and Offline Mode, launch the iPap app, scroll to the bottom of the left-hand navigation menu and tap the  option.

Offline, you can see your synced Collection, and any playlists you have synced to your device. Remove albums and songs from your synced collection by tapping the orange synced icon () and selecting "Remove from Mobile."

How can I manage my queue?

View and manage your Queue by tapping "Queue" in the left-hand navigation menu. Here you’ll be able to see and edit your currently playing music, view the albums or playlists you have lined up to play next, an also change the auto-Station toggles.

To add music to your Queue, simply longpress on the album or song and select "Play Later." You can remove items in your Queue by tapping their menus and selecting Remove from Queue.

Want to play a Station when your Queue runs out, edit the existing Station, or turn auto-playback off completely? Click the ON/OFF to view your options.

What can I do with playlists?

From the iPad app you can create new playlists and add or remove songs in existing playlists.

To create a new playlist, longpress any album or song and select "Add to Playlist." Then choose the "New Playlist..." option at the top.

Add tracks to your existing playlists by tapping a song title and selecting “Add to Playlist.” Choose which playlist to which you’d like to add from the menu.

To delete a song from a playlist, open your playlist, longpress the song, and select "Remove from this Playlist."

How do I search for music?

The search bar is located at the top of the app menu. Type what you’re looking for—the dropdown will update as you type. If you’re not seeing what you’re looking for there, tap the Search button on your keyboard to see your your results sorted by Artists, Albums, Songs, Playlists and People.

How do I share music from the app?
