Rdio Free - Ad Supported (where available)

You can listen to 30 million songs, plus all the albums, playlists, and stations you love, for free, on your computer. We’ve been able to do this by adding short in-stream messaging and ads as you listen.

Free listeners will hear a mix of new feature announcements, messages from partner brands, notifications about exclusive content, and other helpful tips.

Rdio Free everywhere else

With Rdio Free, new users get a limited number of ad-free, full-length streams on the Rdio website and desktop apps each month for up to 6 months.

Started the 48-hour trial on your account? No need to worry! Rdio Free will automatically kick in after your Rdio Unlimited trial ends.

Rdio Free on Mobile

If you’ve ever said, “I just want to click Play and listen to something,” now you can, using Rdio Stations. And, with Rdio Free you can enjoy the experience for free on your mobile device, forever.

  • Free Stations are available on iOS and Android, with other platforms coming in the near future.
  • Free Stations may not be available in all territories Rdio is available.

To comply with DMCA restrictions, there are a few limitations to be aware of, including:

  • No prior announcements of tracks/albums/artists
  • No rewinding, backward skips, or restarting
  • There is a limit of 6 skips per hour if you’re listening to a station

Why can I only listen to Stations on my mobile?

With Rdio Free, you're limited to Stations-only play on your mobile device. If you'd like to listen to albums, tracks, and playlists on-demand, you'll need to upgrade to our Rdio Unlimited subscription.
