Joining an Unlimited Family Plan

What if I already have an existing account? Can I add it to a Unlimited Family Plan?

Yup. An existing Rdio account can be added to a your Family Billing plan at any time. 

If you have an existing account, your Profile, Collection, Playlists, etc. will remain intact when you join a Family Plan. You won't lose any information, you'll just share a monthly subscriptin with the other accounts on the Family Plan.

How do I join an Unlimited Family Plan?

Once the master account has sent you an invite, check your email (and spam folder just in case!) and click the link. 

Do note that you’ll need to click this link from a computer, and not a mobile device. 

If you’re logged into your Rdio account, the link will open up a page for you to accept the invite. You can double check that you’re logged into your account by glancing at the email on the bottom of the pop-up

Once you’re sure it’s your account, just click “Join In” and you’ll be added to the Family Plan.


 

If you’re not signed into your account when you click the link, you’ll have a chance to sign in. If you’re new to Rdio and you still need to create your account, just click the “Get Rdio free” link. 


I think I accepted, how can I tell if I was added successfully?

You can check to see if you’ve been successfully added to a Family Plan by taking a look at your Settings. Go to Settings > Subscription.



I need to cancel my account. How do I do that?

If you’re on a Family Plan and you need to cancel your Rdio subscription, the master account holder will need to remove you from the Family Account. Send them a note and let them know. Once they’ve removed you, your account will be canceled right away.
