Rdio for Mobile

Last updated Nov 08, 2011

How do I use Rdio on my Phone?

Rdio's apps for Android, BlackBerry, iOS and Windows Phone 7 give you mobile access to your Rdio Collection. Sync albums, songs and playlists so you can listen even when you're offline.

What is Sync to Mobile?

Sync to Mobile saves music from your collection to your mobile device. Things that are Synced to Mobile will be saved directly on your phone so that you can listen even if you don't have an internet connection — music will begin syncing when you launch the Rdio app. See our Android, iPhone, iPadWindows 7 Phone or BlackBerry guides for further information on syncing music to your mobile device.

What is Offline Mode?

Use Offline Mode when you want to use the Rdio app without an internet connection -- music that you've marked for Sync will still be available for listening. When your phone is in Offline Mode, you will only see synced music.

How do I switch between Online and Offline Mode?

Rdio's mobile apps will automatically detect whether or not your phone has an internet connection. You can also manually switch Offline Mode. See our Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows 7 Phone or BlackBerry guides for a more detailed explanation.

How can I add or remove music in my offline collection?

You can manage your offline collection from your computer (at rdio.com) or directly on your mobile device.

. See our AndroidiPhoneiPadWindows 7 Phone or BlackBerry guides for detailed information on managing your Rdio collection via your phone.

On Rdio.com, hover your cursor over an Action Menu   to select Sync to Mobile or Remove from Mobile. An orange badge will appear on music set as Sync to Mobile.

Where can I find my mobile device's sync progress?

Your phone's sync progress is viewable within the Rdio app. See our Android, iPhoneiPadWindows 7 Phone or BlackBerry guides for further details.

How much music can I sync to my mobile device?

You can sync as much music as your phone's memory will allow. Unfortunately, 15 GB of music won't fit into 10 GB of space! Once your phone's memory is full, the app won't sync more music until you've made more space available.
