Streaming Troubleshooting

Problematic streaming can happen for a variety of different reasons. In order to track down the issue, please try the following suggestions, and let us know what you discover.

  1. Try having Rdio open in a single browser & tab, not multiple instances at the same time.
  2. Try refreshing/reloading Rdio in your browser.
  3. Quit and restart your web browser, then try Rdio.
  4. If you’re using Rdio Desktop, try playing music without it running.
Still not working?

  1. Try from a different web browser (Firefox/Chrome/Safari)
  2. Make sure the Rdio site isn’t blocked by a firewall (say, at work). To check this, go to this test site: BitGravity Player Debug and let us know what results you see — a screenshot would be best.
  3. Try Rdio on a different Internet connection, like a friend or family’s computer, a cafe with wifi, a 3G connection from a smartphone, etc.
