How do I subscribe to Rdio?
If you’re not yet subscribed, you can subscribe to Rdio using the Subscribe button at the top of the screen. Select Rdio Unlimited or Rdio Web and enter your credit card information on the secure credit card details form.
Click the subscription of your choice, and enter your billing information.
Rdio's login, payment, and signup forms are served in iframes-over-SSL to ensure the security of your personal information. When you add a payment profile, you’ll see a pop-up appear with an HTTPS secure address.
What will appear on my credit card statement?
Charges for your Rdio subscription and downloads will come from "RDIO.COM."
Does billing automatically recur each month?
Yep, it's entirely automatic. You'll be billed on the same date you subscribed each month.
What if I switch from Web-Only to Unlimited mid-month?
If you upgrade in the middle of a billing cycle, you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing month, then the regular $9.99/mo on your usual billing date from then on.
What happens if my billing fails?
If there is an issue with your current form of payment (e.g. card expired, lack of funds, change of address, etc.), and your billing fails your account will be automatically unsubscribed.
Some common reasons why your credit card may not authorize:
- You may not have credit or funds available in your credit or debit card account.
- Prepaid debit cards require a zipcode associated with them, or we will be unable to process the card.
- Your card may have expired.
- Your account may have a hold and you may need to contact your financial institution.
To resubscribe, update the payment information on your Subscriptions page, then reselect a subscription option.
How can I purchase a gift card?
Anyone can purchase an Rdio giftcard for any amount they'd like. You can purchase a giftcard directly on the site at www.rdio.com/gift. Simply select an amount, and an email recipient, and the code will be sent straight to your inbox.
To redeem an Rdio giftcard, visit www.rdio.com/redeem while logged into your account, and enter in the code. You'll still need to subscribe to one of our paid subscriptions and your Rdio credit will be used to pay for the subscription.
Rdio accounts can currently only use a single currency at a time. If you receive a giftcard that uses a currency other than the one you use for your Rdio account, unfortunately you won't be able to redeem it with your account.
If you already have an account balance in one currency, and redeem a giftcard that uses a different currency, you will lose your current account balance. The best thing to do is wait until your current balance is used up, then redeem your giftcard.
How do I cancel my subscription?
If you need to cancel your Rdio account, you can do so at anytime — simply log into your Rdio account from a computer directly and edit your subscription. (Note: You won't be able to edit your subscription from a mobile device or tablet at this time.)
From the Subscriptions tab, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Cancel Subscription.
Once canceled, you will not be billed again and your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

To completely delete your Rdio account, go to Settings > Advanced and click "Delete Your Account" in the bottom right corner.

If you subscribed through iTunes, you'll need to cancel there directly using the instructions here.
I'm a member of a Family Plan - how do I cancel?
You'll need to contact the master account holder to request they remove you from the Family Plan.
What happens when I change or cancel my subscription?
Worried about what will happen to your account if you join a Family Plan, change your subscription type, or cancel? Fear not! Here are details on what to expect when you make changes to your account.
I'm joining a Family Plan. Will I lose my Collection, profile, etc.?
When you join a Family Plan, your profile, Collection, Playlists, Followers, and other details will remain intact. Your account will be the same, you'll just share a monthly subscription cycle with the other accounts on the Family Plan.
I'm going to upgrade/downgrade my subscription type. Will that affect any of my information?
No. You can upgrade or downgrade your Rdio account whenever you need to, and your profile, Collection, Playlists, and other details will stay intact.
Changing your subscription may affect your access to some features, like syncing or mobile streaming.
I need to cancel my subscription. Will that delete all of my account information?
Nope! You can cancel your subscription at any time and all of your information will remain intact. You can log back in at any time, and resubscribe whenever you're ready.
