How and when do I get paid?

When you are accepted into the artist program, you will receive a request to provide your W9 or W8-BEN. Payments are made via PayPal (for US and international artists) or ACH/wire (US artists only) every 90 days, and the minimum payment is 50 USD.

Can I track my referrals?

You will be able to track the new Rdio subscribers generated from your referral links via online statistics or you can export the data to a CSV file. On your account's Overview and Statistics pages you'll be able to see:

  • How many times each referral link has been clicked
  • How many new Rdio subscribers were generated by your referral links
  • You can track your referral links by day, week or month and export as a CSV file
  • You can view statistics on individual referral links or cumulatively across all of your referral links

What if someone I referred cancels his or her subscription?

As long as the fan retains an active subscription for at least one month, you'll be paid even if they cancel down the line. 

Why do I have to enter my W9/W8-BEN information?

If Rdio pays you more than $600 in non-employee compensation we have to report it to the Internal Revenue Service. If you are a United States citizen, you need to provide your tax identification or social security number. If you operate your business outside of the United States you will need to provide a W8-BEN.

What do I need to set up direct deposit (ACH)?

We will need the name of the person listed on the bank account, the bank account and routing numbers as well as the name of the bank. You can also send us a scan of a voided check from the account you'd like your deposits to be made.

What do I need to set up a PayPal deposit?

For PayPal deposits, we'll need the email address on record with your PayPal account.

Can I delete my account or stop the Artist Program at any time?

Absolutely. Just let us know you'd like to stop and we will remove your Artist links and transfer any unpaid balance to you.
