What if my artist’s name is already in use by another Rdio user?
If the desired artist name is in use by an active Rdio user, it is unlikely we will be able to free up the username.
However, if the desired username belongs to an inactive account (as determined by Rdio), we may, at our discretion, either modify the inactive username or transfer ownership to your artist.
To request a change of ownership of an inactive account username, please send a username request to artistprogram@rdio.com with your Rdio email address and artist affiliation details, and we'll be in touch shortly.
