Will Rdio develop integration with Google Chromecast? I pre-ordered one already because it looks like a great product to stream content. Because All Access is already integrated into Chromecast, it would make sense that Rdio would too because it looks like it would be a very useful feature to have on Rdio.
I would absolutely love to see Rdio fully support Chromecast from all their applications. This is a compelling feature that makes Google Play All Access look like a very attractive competing service.
Thanks for letting us know that this is a platform you’d like to see Rdio support. While I can't comment on our future plans for supporting specific platforms, we’re definitely keeping track of your interest.
Ingo, will you pass this along to the devs?
We're looking into it- that's all we can say at this point.
I'd also love to see this supported!
Please support this.
Please support Chromecast.
Please support it. You could be one of the first music apps supporting it.
+1 please support chromecast and you have a new subscriber.
+1 please support! Would make Rdio even better than it already is!
Please, if Rdio brings their beautiful interface to the Chromecast that would make me buy one immediately. Love my Rdio and having it on my home theater through the TV would be a winner!
+1 Support for Chromecast.
@Travis Even just a now playing interface pushed from the phone. They could probably even use the current online now playing interface with some tweaks.
Here's another vote for Rdio Chromcast support.
I stream a Chrome Tab with Rdio in it to the device now, but thats a poor replacement for having the service work out-right.
+1 for Chromecast support from Rdio. What a compelling feature to retain subscribeers since Google Play Music is already supported
Please let us stream rdio from iPad and Android deviecs via Chromecast. Long time rdio member here. Thanks
I would really love to be able to stream to Chromecast also!
Please make this happen ASAP!
I've been with Rdio for a long time, but features and ease of use is where my money is going.
Make it happen Rdio!
It would be nice to have a full Rdio support like for Google Play music...
I fully support this! Rdio to Chromecast would be most excellent :D
My Chromecast has finally arrived. I would be glad to see this platform supported by Rdio as well.
Chromecast integration please!
Same here! Need this feature!
Support for chromecast is essential or switching to Google all access becomes tempting. I love my RDIO android app but being able to push music to my surround sound system is a killer feature for me.
Yes please! This would be a huge differentiator. Don't let spotify get there first, I might defect!
Thanks for your continued feedback in this regard. We are certainly keeping track.
Please support Chromecast to bring rdio in the livingroom!
I have a Chromecast and would love to see Rdio support it.
Here to add my voice of support for this! My wife and I use Rdio daily, both at home and work, and we love it. We’ve casted a tab on occasion, but this is a mediocre work-around at best.
To be frank, we’re very happy customers already, but native support on Chromecast would be immensely appreciated!
Just got my Chromecast and Rdio support would round this out beautifully.
WE WANT CHROMECAST SUPPORT!!!! *please
I have a friend who didn't get a subscription because he couldn't play songs from Rdio easily in the living room. This is a solution.
Another vote for Chromecast support.
This is another vote for Chromecast support.
+1 for Chromecast support as a great addition
Count me in for this! Sadly, I don't have much hope for it. I love ya, rdio, but your platform support isn't very wide.
Please, PLEASE support chromecast guys. It can be as simple as just displaying the album art / album & song title on the screen. Nothing fancy. Hell, I'd even be fine with a blank screen as long as I could get rdio working through my living room speaker setup easily.
I'm not going to lie - this is a key feature. If Rdio doesn't offer any sort of plan for integration soon, I'll be forced to switch to Google Play music.
I'm paying for Rdio, and streaming free from Pandora simply to use the Chromecast. Google music = same cost + Chromecast support today.
I don't really want to switch, but without even an ETA to think about, it's hard not to move over.
Just adding my voice.
I would love to see Chromecast support!
+1 on this Chromecast support23
Chromecast support would be great.
Time to step up Rdio
+1 for chromecast support, I think Rdio give more control than Pandora
+1 for chromecast support. Any news on this?
Just adding my +1 to the list of people who would like to see native Chromecast support.
For all those looking for a workaround, one option is to have Rdio open and playing in a Google Chrome browser tab and then casting that tab. See this Google help document for more details: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/3228332?hl=en
Will be switching unless chromecast integration is added.....
Rdio cannot be the best without Chromecast support :)
Better hurry up, I'm already on a 30 day trial with Google all access and it works very nicely. I love the Rdio interface, but without an ETA on chromecast integration I'm struggling to decide what to do here...
As a long time subscriber of RDIO I would also like to see ChromeCast integration.
+1 support. Would LOVE to see this for Chromecast!!!!
+1 from Brazil!
+1 Please for RDIO on Chromecast
+1 I would also like to see chromecast support. I am also on the verge of going to google music just to be able to chromecast. i have been currently suffering with my old pandora account.
It's been 2 months since an Rdio employee has commented on this post. Can we please get an update from you guys? I understand not being able to commit to a timeline, but is this even in the active development queue? I really love Rdio and being able to walk in the door of my house after work, press one button on my phone and continue my playlist on my TV would be awesome! Pandora/Songza are just not cutting it...
So here I am, listening to a radio queue on Google Play Music All Access (now that's one hell of a long name) casting from my phone to my TV simply because Rdio doesn't support it. I'm in the middle of my 30-day free trial at the end of which I'll have to decide where my 10-bucks-a-month are gonna go. If by then there's still no word from the Rdio dev team y'all know who's gonna be getting my money, right?
I thought the Rdio dev team would be interested in this: https://plus.google.com/100585555255542998765/posts/f5TLgHDzhaY
