Keyboard shortcut for thumbs up/down?

Bryan Clark Aug 28, 2013 02:08PM PDT

I love the new Stations feature, and that it uses the thumbs up/down metaphor to hone the station.

However: I'd *really* love a keyboard shortcut to like/dislike a song. It'd be really nice to be able to switch to Rdio, hit that keyboard shortcut, and jump back to what I was doing, without hitting a mouse, just like I can do today to switch to the next track.

I would also like the same thing. It does get annoying for me when I set my radio to adventurous and want to like and dislike songs in a quicker manner.

Hey any progress on this?

I'd really like it as well.

At the moment on my GNU/linux machine I make use of an automation tool to send keystrokes to a specific browser window based on it's title, I use this to send space button or right arrow to rdio's webpage, which pauses or plays next track.

Having a shortcut that lets me add the song to my collection, or as the OP wanted, ability to like or dislike a song will help my productivity and others enjoyment of the service. At the moment it's around 5+ (too lazy to check exactly) clicks for me to just navigate back to the browser and add a song to my collection.

This is something that will seriously make me want to continue paying a subscription once my trial is expired.

This is a good suggestion, in general Rdio's client needs a robust set of keyboard shortcuts to make its use less cumbersome. How about some kind of an update on these requests?
