Request: Edit an album in queue.

Polite Society Jun 20, 2012 07:28PM PDT

Would like to be able to edit an album in the queue, ie be able to delete to switch the order of tracks within an album. I suspect this could be a pain depending on how it's coded.

I'm finding quite a few albums either have bonus cds or whatever attached to them, and most of the time i'm not really interested in the bonus content. A perfect example is when listening to a dj set and it has the songs once broken into tracks and then listed again as a continual mix. Also albums which have been remastered and have the original tracks at the end.

Would really like to be able to remove them from the queue.

Hi,

Thanks for your input, and while there isn't currently a way to do this, it's something we'll keep in mind for future updates.

Best,
Nate

It may not be possible for me to do it as a user, but would it be possible for Rdio to change their standards to treat extra cds as separate albums? Like instead of having
(Album Title) Deluxe Edition
with everything in a single playlist, could it be standard to have it as
(Album Title) Deluxe Edition CD1
(Album Title) Deluxe Edition CD2 (live)
(Album Title) Deluxe Edition CD3 (bootlegs)
etc?

Hi,

I'll pass your feedback on to our design and UI team. Thanks for your input on this, and we're working to make Rdio as natural and easy to use as possible.

Nate
