Feature request: reorder playlists in mobile apps

Tammy Kolda Aug 05, 2012 12:56PM PDT

Hi,

Is there a way to reorder playlists other than on the web page? It doesn't seem to work in the Windows PC app, the andriod app, or the iPad app. Thanks.

Hi Tammy,

Thanks for letting us know mobile playlist reordering is something you'd use, request noted!

(Playlist reordering should be available within the Windows App in a coming update).

Best,
Madelyn

Hi,
I have a similar request regarding playlists.

It'd be great to be able to "Play all" for whatever artists/albums/songs are in view.
E.g. when I'm in my collection, and click on artist "Joe Bloggs", and the next window is an overview of all Joe Bloggs' albums... there really should be a Play All button so I can listen to all of Joe Bloggs' albums on random, or whatever...
Same could be said for every window in Rdio just about. It could be a button on the top menu bar of the window, which when pressed starts playing everything that is displayed in that window in a "now playing" playlist
I think this is a pretty rudimentary function that players like Winamp have had as long as I can remember.
I'd also like to be able to add any album/song to "Now Playing".

Please don't confuse this with the "Queue" functionality that Rdio already has. I have used this a few times, and personally, I've found it pretty much useless. (But perhaps other people love it)
My qualm is that on the mobile app, it is not possible for to queue several albums of my choice to a "now playing" playlist (so far as I can tell).

Note, this is also different to building "playlists". I don't want to spend 5 minutes creating a playlist, selecting 3 different albums from 4 different artists to add to that playlist, then listening to that playlist, then not needing it ever again.
(I saw a similar thread to this last point recently, but I can't find it today)

Thanks in advance :)

Joash
