Cancelled my subscription

Alastair Coote Nov 09, 2011 01:19PM PST

I'm very sad to have had to cancel my subscription to Rdio and go for the Zune music pass instead- I've recently got a Windows Phone and the Rdio app is almost entirely non-functional. Now that Spotify has a WP app I think that Rdio needs to step up it's game. I'm not expecting a lot- just the ability to play music.

Either that or make an importable module like iOS and Android have- then at least we can make our own apps.

Rdio is the worst for windows. They are like sleezy car sales men. Selling you a lemon!

I canceled too. But if they can get it to work as well as spotify or rhapsody (both play music without crashing), I will stay with them despite all the heartache. I love/hate rdio. They would be the best if they cared a bit more. I will say it again a free month is not free of constant fustration. Please no more updates that don't fix the biggest issue of not playing music at a consistent basis.
Why can your competitors do this? You give BS feedback of how it could be our network connection..... not true, Spotify works just fine so does rhapsody, it is your windows engineers fault and the spineless management that won't just fire that person or persons. How many chances do you expect, how many times can you say "we are aware of the issue and are working on it" Rdio used to be the best. I will give you credit for your outstanding work in the Apple IOS relm, but please don't tell me your apple tech is working on the windows app, that would be bad, you need a real windows person for that. Hire someone new. The deign is great... but we need to hear the music, come on!!!!!!!

Will anything change? Really. Please just finally admit rdio is knowingly selling a broken product. Then you can quit your job and we can start a class action law suit. For example just because some posts a sign at there business that says we reserve the right to refuse service, does not mean it is against the law to refuse service based on how someone looks. Rdio your terms of service does not give you the right to sell a broken product.
