iOS App crashing on start up...iPhone 5 with up to date OS version.

Mark Weiler Dec 28, 2012 11:57AM PST

Is there anything I can do to fix this? My Rdio app crashes every time I start it. Sometimes it comes up and waits for me to try and do something before it crashes and other times it loads and crashes immediately. Essentially, it is unusable on my phone, which is the only place I listen to music. I have tried most, if not all, of the fixes that have been suggested and it has not worked.

Hi Mark,

Very sorry about the continued trouble. We're looking into fixing these issues in forthcoming updates, but can you see if the following helps you in the interim?:

- Access Rdio on your computer.
- Play something other than a Station, such as an album or a song, for at least 3-4 minutes.
- Open Rdio on your mobile device and see if you run into issues.

Let me know if the trouble persists after trying the above.

Thanks for your patience,

I'm in the same boat. The new version crashes every time I start it up. Your app went from "the greatest thing ever that I tell all my friends about" to "an utterly worthless ripoff that makes want to cancel my substitution every time I attempt to use it". You guys need to fix this ASAP.

I have this problem as well. I have an iPhone 4s with an up to date OS.

It was working fine until this morning, and now I am unable to listen to my music at work... the main reason I subscribe to this app.

I tried your 'solution"
- Play something other than a Station, such as an album or a song, for at least 3-4 minutes.
It did not work.

UPDATE! I logged out of rdio on my phone and computer, reset my iPhone and logged in again. After that, it worked :)
