It would be nice if Rdio automatically scrolled to the currently playing song. I have a playlist of ~200 songs, and when the song changes (on shuffle), i have no idea where to find the song that i'm playing is. It'd also be nice if clicking on the "go to current song" button on the bottom right would go to the song in the PLAYLIST not on its ALBUM, since I am playing off of a playlist. Of course if I am playing off of the album, it should go to the album. Basically, clicking on the 'go to now playing' should go to the song (scrolling included) currently playing off of the currently playing source.
Thanks for writing in and letting us know that's something you'd like to see on Rdio. We appreciate your feedback and I'll share your suggestion with the rest of the team.
I second this feature request.
Thirded! I'm currently having this exact problem.
Fourth! It would be great if the player would scroll the list to keep the current song in view. I'm talking about the player in the web browser here.
Here is my use case: I create a playlist of 'Stuff to Consider' with HUNDREDS of songs. Then I listen to the albums while I'm working. When I hear a song that I like, I add the song to a playlist of favorites using the plus/arrow icon.
Here is my workaround (which is pretty fast): I click the song name in the player, which minimizes the player and shows the song in the album page and its plus/arrow icon. I can then show the player list by clicking the list icon in the bottom right of the player... but it won't be showing where I am in the list.
I would like to see this feature request as well.
Ditto! Been wanting that for about 2 years. My main playlist now has over 400 tracks, and this would be excellent!
Also, a search function to look within the playlist would be great. Sometimes I know the song is in there, but no idea where.
And while driving, I'd like to just start on some specific song, then shuffle through the rest of the playlist, so I don't have to keep messing with it, and can focus on the road.
Thanks for listening to the ideas. Been loving Rdio for 2+ years, and it keeps getting better. Keep it up! :-)
Ditto, Ditto, Ditto. Would be a great feature to have!
