      <description>I love the feature on the web app and ipad that I can view my collection in different ways.  Most played and recently added view options are very helpful in finding what you want to play.       <description>Hi,

I am trying to play the album Será by La Vida Boheme that I have synced to my iPhone. Once it is synced to my phone I get a "Track Playback Error / Please try again, or report the problem to Rdio support" error on every song. I have tried unsyincing/resyncing and also completely uninstalling/reinstalling Rdio without success. It works fine on my computer or also on my iPhone when not synced.

I really need the above feature on the iPhone app, is that possible? I really think it should be the default behavior on all apps. There are various use cases:

A current album finishes and the next item in my queue starts. The next item is something I want to listen to, just not right now. So I find something else I want to listen to, but have to manually put the item skipped back in my queue.

I get halfway through an album but have to go to work / dinner / etc. Later, I look up an album I want to listen to immediately. The last album playing should just go to the top of my queue to resume later.

Is there a way to currently do this on iPhone? Does anyone else think this should be the default behavior?</description>

      <title>Unacceptably slow app and playback since last update</title>
      <description>Hi, I know this is a well-known issue and the object of many other threads, but it has been on for weeks now and has really become unacceptable. Am I paying 10$ a month for this ? As stated in the above title, since the last update (which by the way did not add any valuable feature in my opinion) I am just waiting and waiting for a song to play or an album to showup....it now takes forever!

I don't understand Rdio's lack of diligence to resolve such major bug. The app is now a real pain and very frustrating to use. I am often waiting 20-45 seconds in order to be able to start playing a song. In fact, I almost no longer use rdio because of this and I am seriously thinking of changing for the competition and cancelling my subscription. Meanwhile I'll use Songza....

One more thing, the albums and songs management are really bad. Normal users don't care about social networking features with this app, they simply want to easily manage their own playlists and especially be able to delete albums from it...How come is it so complicated to delete albums?

A very disappointed customer.

      <title>ADD TO QUEUE  - CLEAR QUEUE</title>
      <description>I just read some posts dating back two years ago discussing the lack of shuffling options and I get how it's hard, but my own Sonos playback can do it with my rdio playlists, so it can't be that hard!   With Sonos, I clear my easily visible queue, then I just add the tracks in a playlist to my queue, then add some more, then add an album or two, or whatever, and then push play/shuffle.  I can save it on Sonos to a new playlist called TODAY if I want to hear it again, but I don't have to.   

Still, I am not always enjoying my home luxuries.  Sometimes I need to rely on my mobile app (and not everyone has Sonos either).  But if Sonos can do it then rdio can too, non?  

Something that would be very helpful on the mobile apps would be a button to push to CLEAR QUEUE. and clarity about what PLAY LATER does.  (Same as add to the queue in Sonos)  It's difficult to know what's in a queue, and the continuous playback can be an unpleasant surprise if queue contains things I just sampled, rejected, and nothing I collected or ever want to hear again.  

I think the question posted to day "click one song, plays another" has to do with the problem of not understanding or knowing what is in the queue, and not being able to easily clear it on the fly.  the same song just keeps coming up over and over after the single song you add gets played.  I'd rather clear my queue entirely and shuffle what I add to "PLAY LATER".  If it would be simple (and OBVIOUS to newbies) that they have a queue and it's their job to clear it, then can easily see how to ADD TO QUEUE instead of the ambiguous PLAY LATER.  These improvements would answer months of plodding confusion on users' parts with the mobile apps. 

Keep working on this, PLEASE!  It's very hard to figure out how to use the mobile apps.

      <title>Click one song, plays another</title>
      <description>Okay so I just switched to Rdio from Spotify. My problem is I synced all my songs in my car playlist to my phone because I dont have enough data to stream otherwise. Except for a couple songs, all of them work. The problem is more often than not I will click on a song, and Rdio will play another one. The same one every time. Then I will go on shuffle and the original song I wanted to play works just fine. This happens for several songs. I've restarted my device, have the most updated app, and uninstalled and reinstalled the app and resynced my music and the problem is still there.

      <title>viewing synced collection when offline??</title>
      <description>I have several playlists with hundreds of songs synced to my iphone 4 now.  When I am online I can play my "collection station" but if I have to go offline (as I will be for most of the summer), I can only see one album in my collection.  I gather it's because I synced that ALBUM to my mobile.   I haven't synced other albums, but I would hope to see other songs and artists from the playlists I synced in a collection which I can shuffle together when offline. 

Shouldn't I be able to see all my synced songs as a "collection" just as I can when using my desktop or if I was online?  I can only play my playlists this way, I can't combine them, or figure out a way to edit my queue.  I find the iphone app very limited this way....

      <title>Anyone else having major issues with iPhone playback lately?</title>
      <description>For a long time, I could always count on Rdio for great performance on desktop, iPad and iPhone. Desktop and iPad performance have remained mostly solid overall, but my Rdio iPhone app has been literally unusable lately. I try to connect to my car stereo via Bluetooth (2013 Subaru WRX), but that works MAYBE half the time, and if it does work it will randomly stop half way through the first song. So then I usually try to use a hard AUX line, but that hasn't been helping either. So then I will try to play offline, and most of the time that doesn't even work lately! So frustrating. 

I am about as loyal an Rdio user as anyone — been on it since day 1 and have evangelized the shit out of this service to friends &amp; family. But this has been seriously bumming me out lately.  

I have a fully updated 4S with the latest Rdio update as well. 

P.S. The user experience for signing up additional users on a family plan is bad. Really bad. </description>

      <title>Offline scrobbling missing track(s)?</title>
      <description>Good Morning

I moved from using Spotify to Rdio mainly because of the offline scrobbling feature, something which Spotify does not do. (Plus Rdio's app interface is alot better)
I've been very impressed with Rdio but I have started to notice then when listening offline to music synced to my ipod touch, not all tracks listened to are scrobbled when an internet connection is restored.
Most of the time just one track will be missing and it will often be the last one I have listened too, or the last track on an album.
I listen to all the tracks in full so I'm a little puzzled as to why it seems to miss one out?

I am using an apple ipod touch 4th generation 64GB, using the latest version of IOS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      <title>Several long standing issues</title>
      <description>The bug that I reported last July (http://help.rdio.com/customer/portal/questions/417877-music-stops-randomly) has never been fixed. The progress bar of the song is going forward but no sound is heard. This does not happen all the time but it is so frequent that I usually sync music to iPhone and listen in off-line mode. In off-line mode this does not happen.

However off-line mode does not keep correct track of songs played or does not send them correctly to last.fm. I use last.fm that keeps statistics of the songs I have played. Yesterday I listened (offline): twice in a row one album that contains 12 songs, one album containing 10 songs, and 3 songs from another album. After I went online last.fm shows that I listened 4 songs from the first album (actual is 24), 3 from the second (actual is 10) and 2 from the third one (actual 3). This does not happen all the time, in most of the cases songs are sent correctly, but there is also cases where none of the played songs are sent.</description>

      <description>Firstly I would like to say that I have send numerous emails to your "help center" and have yet to receive a response. Is this the typical non-existent customer service for which the internet is famous? ....in any case here is my issue...my subscription will not update on my iphone and is still in trial mode. I actually have 2 subscriptions now, for some reason. It works fine on my computer.   Here is what is happening: Rido tells me my subscription has expired and asks me to renew , I renew, then it tells me I have already renewed, then continues to play only 20 second clips. I have been on Rdio since the beginning and have 17, 000 songs in my collection .  I have been raving about Rdio to everyone I know . However , I am getting really pissed off at the lack of response from you people, and , if i don't get a response soon, I will not only quit Rdio, I will tell everyone I know not to use it. I have found that if I uninstall, and then re install it, it will work but only for this first time opening the app. After I close it, and attempt to open it again, it crashes at the start up screen.

I find the "remote control" feature amazing. 
Something I find annoying though, is that if I open Rdio on my iPad while music is playing on my Mac browser, I can play/pause from iPad, but the song displayed is not the same as the one playing on the Mac, but the last I listened to on iPad. 

And pressing "Play here instead..." doesn't play the same song I was listening to, but lets me play the last song played on iPad! Shouldn't it carry on with the same song, if I sart music on a different device?</description>

      <title>Rdio resumes song on speaker after interupted by phone call and unplugged headset</title>
      <description>If found quite an annoying scenario while using Rdio 2.1.6 on iPhone iOS 6.1.2.
Scenario:
- Listening to music with headset
- Getting call
- Rdio stops music
- Conversation using the headset
- While on call, unplug the headset and continue the call
- End the call
- Rdio continues playing music via the speaker!

This was quite embarrassing since I walked into a meeting after ending the call and my music played loudly via the speaker of my iPhone. Please make sure when the audio device changes, Rdio will not resume playing after a call. Thanks!

      <description>I just recently updated my Rdio to 2.1.6 on my iPhone and ever since then, Rdio will not play songs.  I can search for songs, I can select artists and select album but thats when things stop working.       <description>Hi I have my iphone and computer set up to stream to my bose soundlink system through bluetooth, and I noticed that rdio doesn't have any eq controls.  Since the service is meant to be played anywhere and through any sort of speakers I think this feature would be very helpful.       <title>synching offline extremely bug-ridden in latest release</title>
      <description>Is there a fix/solution to the sluggish and unreliable synching music for offline issues occurring in the latest iOS release?

Here are the most pressing technical issues I am experiencing within the mobile app:

1. When not in wifi or strong/any 4g/LTE coverage zone (e.g. BART, out in nature etc.), launching the app typically takes 1 to 3 crashes and re-launches to get past the blue startup screen. following app launch, clicking into my collection available "offline" yields the artist names but clicking through to get the album tracks, leaves the spinning indicator icon that rarely resolves to displaying the actual album/tracks that were synched...not only allowing zero playback but constant app force quits and restarts combined with what appears to be a metadata tag grab drains device battery.

2. The only hack remedy I've found for #1 above, is to ensure that Rdio is launched, and the album/songs (previously synched) I want to listen to is loaded and playing/paused before going to subway/areas of no or very low data/wifi coverage.

3. Synching of playlists taking extremely long and 90% of the time does not complete the full synch (have seen in other threads, this could be due to a "song reset") but difficult to determine the problematic song in a 50+ track playlist.

***additional fixes/methods attempted combing through help center that did not change the above:
- deleted, reinstalled Rdio iOS app
- restarted iPhone many times
- reset Network Settings, attempted synching in various wifi networks

mobile phone: iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.3, AT&amp;T

I love Rdio but the recent mobile updates have been utter frustration, please let me know if there are updates that address these issues and/or something I am mission.

      <title>Adding a new playlist</title>
      <description>With the new layout, I have NO CLUE how to add songs to a playlist or create a new playlist! The guide shows that there are "+" signs next to each song, but on my phone that button does not appear. I search for an artist, an album with the songs will be listed, and the only option I see is to add it to my collection. 
Again, once I add them to the collection there is no clear way to add the song to a playlist or create a new playlist. 
If I want to add songs to an existing playlist, that isn't an option either. 
These changes just seemed to happen with the app...is there something I'm missing??

      <description>Pandora has a nice feature (found in Settings - Screen Auto-Lock - Conserve Battery) that disables the iPhone's auto-lock while Pandora is running.       <description>Before I get into my question, please allow me to express my disgust and lack of respect I now have for RDIO after your social media team decided that my question wasn't suitable for your Facebook page and deleted it. I am a paying subscriber, I therefore have a right to seek support should the need arise. So well down on dealing with the first ever ask for help I have submitted. You really should train your Social Media team to actually assist your PAYING CUSTOMERS whom seek assistance via Facebook.

Now, to the question: Everytime my subscription is due, it just so happens that I am out and about and need to quickly re-subscribe. Doing this through your App however is not possible, as it tries to charge me $20.99 for 1 month! It looks like a glitch in your billing system, however this problem has persisted for several months now. I do believe I am owed some sort of explanation as to why this is happening and why I need to go OUT OF MY WAY to PAY YOU. It should be the other way around.

The second MOG has a better library you can be assured you won't be getting my money anymore due to your terrible customer service. It's funny how little things can really throw what was once a loyal and active referrer of your service off it all. Well done guys, fantastic marketing don't ya think!

      <title>Rdio app crashes upon lock</title>
      <description>Hi-
I'm just starting out with Rdio, and I love most of it. I'm this close to getting a subscription, but the app has a few frustrating features. The main one is that if I'm trying to download an album and I lock the app while streaming that downloading album, the app crashes within about 20 seconds. It's incredibly frustrating, and I'd love it if I could lock my iPod while downloading and streaming and not have the app crash almost immediately.

Also, for some reason the album Delay No More by Spectrasoul refuses to download for me. I've tried hitting the "Sync to mobile" button over and over again but it stays stuck at 0%.

I downloaded rdio to my ipod just a few days ago and i'm still on the fourteen day trial. I wanted to sync some albums to my ipod and i figured out how to pretty fast. It says that it's on my ipod, but when i go to my music it doesn't appear. Am I missing somthing? Can i sync music when on the fourteen day trial?

      <title>iPhone continuously plays from local music source instead of Rdio when connected to my car</title>
      <description>Hi All -

I looked around and didn't see anything similar to this so thought I would ask... I have a Dodge Charger and when I use Rdio with Bluetooth the music plays okay. The problem is when I connect the iPhone to the car's USB port I can no longer listen to Rdio!

It appears that instead of allowing Rdio to continue playing music, the source switches to the local music that has been uploaded to the iPhone. If I force Rdio to "take over" it plays for half a second (and updates the screen with the song info) but then immediately switches back to the music that is locally available to the device.

Any ideas? I've never had this problem with Rdio before, and I'd prefer to be able to play over the USB connection as it is clearer than Bluetooth and will bring the track information to the radio screen.

Appreciate your feedback.

      <description>There are lists that have been synced and the synced logo appears as such when online, when offline, list appears as available, upon selecting it displays "unable to load" and has a "go online" button. When this is done, list appears, I go offline again and the list plays however it will happen again shortly thereafter.

Since the last update I have been having a problem with my synced material. If I am offline on my iphone, and try to play a synced playlist, I get an error message that says "Couldn't load content", and the option to go online is presented.

I would assume that if songs are selected to be synced they would either go into my collections automatically or go into a separate offline playlist, otherwise its very hard to locate these song and its also annoying to have to select a song to be synced and to be put into my collections when both steps could be done with one action. Is this actually possible?

I'm using iPhone 5 app version 2.1.3

      <title>Remote Control switched to PC</title>
      <description>I am running two instances of RDIO: IPAD and PC.  Normally the PC is the 'server' and the IPAD shows RDIO running on another device, which is perfect because I can now remote control the PC.  But if you elect to listen to RDIO on the IPAD, then the roles reverse, the IPAD is now the server and the PC is now used to remotely control the IPAD .. which is not what I wanted.  That is okay except that on the IPAD you can no longer switch it back to the PC being the server.  The only way to do that is to go to the PC RDIO program and restart it.

I think what is needed is the PC app to include a 'setting' whereby it will always be a server and not switch to a client automatically.  I guess there would be instances where you want the PC to remote control another PC or IPAD playing RDIO, but normally the PC would always be the server.

Or, we need a button added to the IPAD app where the IPAD could elect to be a server or a client.  Meaning, if the client button is pressed, it will look for a server out there.

      <description>Well aside from the constant issues I am having with rdio freezing while playing through my car stereo, artists being removed constantly and the loss of your BEST feature "recommended artists" I am ready to jump ship the second spotify releases in Canada. 

To console an avid user I need a human response as to a time frame for the recommended artist feature.       <title>Playing local music within Rdio.</title>
      <description>Hello - curious as to whether or not hooking into the native iOS music app to show your local media in Rdio has made it onto the roadmap yet. I've checked in on many a thread on ths topic and they all seem to indicate this is something the Rdio team is still gauging interest on but otherwise hasn't made it onto the feature roadmap.

I love Rdio, like everyone else that has brought this up. The continued lack of this feature, though, is kind of crazy. People want to use the Rdio app for 100% of their music listening( a testament to the generally great design and user experience) even in those cases where they'd have to supplement the Rdio collection with their previously/alternatively purchased content.

The 'overhead/metadata' boilerplate answer that's been floating around on these threads for a year and a half now is valid, but it can't be unsolvable. Give us some basic functionality, even if its just a potentially unruly 'device media' section that we can at least use to pull in items onto our playlists, but it otherwise isn't integrated into the Collection. Something, anything!

      <title>syncing</title>
      <description>I have an Ipod, everytime I have to sync it due to a software update or it requires it due to the length of time since the last sync it takes almost all night to download my 4 playlists. I checked my service and it is operating at full speed I am on DSL, my provider suggests that it may the server at RDIO that is the problem, has anyone else experienced this ?
I have updated both my Ipod and Rdio to the latest software versions.

      <title>Subscription won't go through</title>
      <description>Hello! Tonight I subscribed through my iPad via iTunes for the Unlimited plan. I got an email from Apply confirming the subscription and I can see it in there when I go to acc / manage. However, the app hasn't updated to reflect the payment - I'm still getting 30 second clips?! 

I logged online on my laptop - same problem with the 30s clips - also noticed it was asking me to subscribe! So I subscribed AGAIN, this time via Paypal, and still.. nothing has changed. It's like you guys don't want my cash ;)

Please can you tell me what's going on? I don't want to be paying twice, for literally nothing.

      <title>Sync'd artist/music not showing in collection when offline</title>
      <description>I've sync'd a large amount of music to my iphone 4s, while the songs are on my device and play on my own station when I'm offline, only a small portion of the artist/albums show in my collection. 

To play those 'missing' artists/albumsI have to go on-line, play the album and then go offline. That artist/album will play when I go offline, but the artist still does not show up in my collection so I can not select another album from my collection without going back online. 

To unistall and reinstall app would take significant time as I have spent months downloading my collection, is there a fix? </description>
